We found this site to be particularly helpful in sorting out the roles of the preceptor, faculty and student and in offering constructive and evaluative feedback. The authors offer a universal understanding of what current students 'look like' - for example current students are generally older (average age 28 years), have greater family and financial responsibilities and are committed to learn nursing well to minimize the risks of unsafe practice and to gain employment.
